Care Instructions

At Siloam Artisan Soap, we take pride in crafting high-quality products with natural ingredients. To ensure your items last longer and maintain their best quality, here are some simple care tips:

Soaps

Our soaps are made with luxurious oils, butters, and goat’s milk to nourish your skin. To help them last longer, follow these simple care instructions:

  • Slice the Soap: To avoid the entire bar getting wet and melting quickly, slice your soap into 2 or 3 pieces. This will allow you to use a smaller piece at a time and keep the rest dry.
  • Keep Away from Moisture: As our soaps are made with oils, butters, and milk, they tend to dissolve quicker when exposed to excess water. To preserve your soap, keep it away from moist areas after each use. A soap dish or soap tray with good drainage is ideal.
  • Glycerin By-Product: Our soaps contain natural glycerin, which attracts moisture. While this is great for your skin, it also means the soap will absorb moisture from its environment. After using the soap, place it in a dry spot to prevent it from becoming too soft.

Body Butter

Our Body Butters are made with rich, nourishing butters that deeply hydrate and soften the skin. To keep them fresh and maintain their consistency, follow these care tips:

  • Avoid Moisture: Since our body butter is made purely with butter, moisture can cause it to lose its ideal texture. Ensure that the container is always tightly closed, and avoid introducing moisture into the jar (like using wet fingers or placing the jar in a damp area).
  • Storage: Keep your body butter in a cool, dry place to maintain its smooth texture.

Shampoo & Conditioner

Our Shampoo and Conditioner Bars are designed for easy use and to help nourish your hair. To keep them in perfect condition:

  • Use a Soap Tray: After use, place your shampoo and conditioner bars on a soap tray or dish with drainage. This will keep the bars from sitting in water and help them last longer.
  • Keep Them Dry: After each use, make sure the bars are dry before storing them away to avoid excess moisture, which can cause them to soften prematurely.

By following these simple care instructions, you can ensure that our products stay in the best condition for longer, and continue to nourish your skin and hair as intended.
